About This Session

This foundation enablement session dives deeper into Log Management, focusing on Log Pipelines and processing. You will learn how to further manipulate your logs with the Datadog Agent to send only high-value logs to Datadog. Additionally, you will learn how to create your own custom pipeline to process your logs in the way you want.

Learning Objectives

Review advanced log collection configurations such as filtering, scrubbing, and aggregating logs.
Differentiate between global log processing rules and integration-specific log processing rules.
Describe the total lifecycle of a log from ingestion to various retention methods, including indexing, flex storage, and logs-to-metrics processing.
