Resource-based sampling allows you to control ingestion sampling rates by resource (endpoint), in order to ensure capturing a higher proportion of business critical traces, while remaining within budget. Manage these sampling rates directly from the UI and apply these changes at runtime, without restarting your services.
Adaptive sampling: By specifying a target monthly ingestion volume and enrolling one or multiple services to adaptive sampling, ensure that the consumption of these services matches the target volume at the end of the month, while keeping visibility over all services and endpoints.
To qualify for this product beta, you must be currently using or plan to use Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and meet the standard requirements listed in this documentation.
