New features
Enhance your monitoring of AWS resources
Datadog’s new integration with AWS Neuron enables you to monitor your AWS Inferentia and Tranium instances–as well as the Neuron SDK–allowing you to track their performance and ensure better inference, resource utilization, and more. Check out this blog post to learn more about this integration, which is generally available.
Our new Explorer page for Amazon Elastic Container Service provides comprehensive visibility into your ECS clusters and workloads. Whether you’re looking into tasks, services, or clusters, this new feature organizes your telemetry data alongside configuration details. Get up to speed on ECS Explorer, which is generally available, by reading this blog post.
We’re also excited to introduce Storage Monitoring, which gives you visibility into your cloud storage infrastructure. Currently in Preview for Amazon S3, Storage Monitoring offers deep, prefix-level analytics, helping you understand how storage is used, detect potential issues, and make data-driven decisions. Learn more about Storage Monitoring by checking out this blog post.
Detect misconfigurations before they go to production with Datadog IaC Security
Datadog Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) Security helps you secure your cloud environment from end to end by enabling you to detect misconfigurations before they get to production. When Datadog finds a misconfiguration, those violations are surfaced on the platform and on associated pull requests with details about the findings and steps for remediation, when applicable. Datadog IaC Security is currently in Preview. Visit this blog post to learn more.
Resolve workload issues with next steps from Datadog Kubernetes Active Remediation
Kubernetes Active Remediation provides application teams with clear, contextual remediations that they can use to resolve workload issues directly in the Kubernetes Explorer. When Datadog surfaces a Kubernetes-related error, teams can access recommended next steps, a description of what happened, and details about related issues. Kubernetes Active Remediation is currently in Preview. Learn more by reading this blog post.
Break down OpenAI costs with Datadog Cloud Cost Management
Cloud Cost Management takes the guess work out of budget planning by giving you and your engineering teams daily breakdowns of your real-not estimated-OpenAI costs. By integrating these costs into your engineering teams’ existing workflows and within the context of their OpenAI usage data, teams get complete cost transparency, enabling them to quickly react to cost spikes and optimize spend. OpenAI costs are in Preview for all Cloud Cost Management customers. Check out this blog post to learn more.
